It's okay today. I want to write something, huh, for the first time! You don't mind writing well.
Now, we all know that windows will occupy a lot of space. 98 requires 200 MB, and 2000 requires about 1 GB of space, XP requires GB of space ....... in fact, such a large amount of space is not all useful (or less useful, but can be deleted). If you delete all these spaces, it can save about 4/5 of the Space ~~~ Don't believe it !!
Okay. Let me talk about XP.
1. Leave the system disk empty
1. Identify unnecessary files in the system:
Delete the backup of the system file. The system32dllcache directory contains a file of about mb. This is a windows xp system backup, when the system file is replaced. during deletion or modification, the system can automatically extract and restore from it. this folder cannot be deleted directly. Enter Sfc/purgecache in the command line to delete the folder.
2. Delete the driver backup:
The driver in the windowsdrivercachei386 directory is a backup of the hardware driver. Generally, it is not used and can be deleted directly.
3. Delete useless input methods:
In the windowsime folder, It is a file related to the input method, where traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are of no use. You can delete them directly ,~~~ What? Are you afraid of deletion errors? I will tell you... chtime is traditional Chinese, imjp8_1 is Japanese, and imk6_1 is Korean, which saves about 80 mb of space
4. Delete the Help file:
When I first started using windows, it was very important to see help, but it was not very useful after I became familiar with it. So I can consider deleting it. In C: WINDOWSHELP, you can delete the files in the directory together with the directory.
5. Uninstall unnecessary components:
Some components in WINDOWS are temporarily unavailable, but they cannot be found in the deletion program. You can find them by modifying the inf file, but it is not recommended for beginners to do so.
6. Clear temporary files
Temporary files include system temporary files and IE temporary files. System temporary files are generally stored in the windowsemp and C: documents and settings usernames \ local settingsemp folders. You can delete them directly. Temporary IE files can be deleted from IE properties. It is best to move the temporary IE folder to a non-system disk to reduce the usage of the system disk.
In addition, you can delete the hidden folders of the service pack (SP1, SP2) and windows update. However, if the space is not very tight, we do not recommend that you do this,
~~~~~ Okay. Write it here first. Typing is too tired. I will continue later.
