File-based AJAX localization
This article uses the following techniques:
asp.net AJAX
In fact, ASP.net 2.0 provides an excellent localization model for WEB applications, and includes a great deal of globalization support in the Microsoft®.net Framework. However, this support is limited to server-side code. asp.net AJAX applications include a large number of client-side code, and the standard asp.net localization model does not include the content. Here, I'll introduce localization and globalization models for ASP.net AJAX applications, and demonstrate how to localize JavaScript resources and increase limited globalization support. And I assume you have a basic understanding of asp.net and asp.net AJAX as well as internationalized asp.net 2.0 applications.
A localized model based on Assembly
The Microsoft asp.net AJAX framework includes two models that can be used to localize JavaScript resources: One is based on the assembly and the other is file-based. Let's first understand the model based on the assembly.
The assembly based model will use the resources that you use in any asp.net or windows®forms application, that is, the regular. NET Framework. resx file. These resources are embedded in the assembly and are eventually retrieved using the ResourceManager class. I'll explain this process in an example: a button that invokes a JavaScript function that displays a localized message to the user in a warning way. If you plan to synchronize and create your own samples, you might want to use the name you specified here; otherwise, it will be difficult to find the source of the problem when your example fails to produce the correct results.
