GNS3, assign a fixed IP to the VMware virtual machine

Because the landlord is the VMware Small white, so this small problem I stopped a lot of time, is n many methods, finally back to the beginning to find so simple

Words do not say much, the method is as follows:

One, open the VM, start the virtual machine

Second, wait for the virtual machine to start, enter the user name root password cisco (Figure 1)

Iii. input nano/etc/network/interfaces into the nano

Iv. iface eth0 inet DHCP changed to iface eth0 inet static

Enter address +ip addresses, enter the netmask + mask (Figure 2)

Six, press Ctrl+o save, press Ctrl+x exit
Seven, restart the virtual machine OK
