When you are connected, always prompt for hostname lookup Failed:host NotFound When you enable Telnet on GNS3. and directly open the SECURECRT, enter the IP 127.0.0.1 Port 2000 but can log on the router normally

Start D:\securecrt\securecrt.exe/script d:\programfiles\gns3\securecrt.vbs/arg%d/t/telnet%/h%p

Change the%/h to 127.0.0.1, the problem still can't be solved

Workaround:

1. Right-click on "My Computer" in the system and select "Properties". In the System Properties window, select the "Advanced" tab and press the "Environment variables" button; Step two: Add the path value of the system variable in the environment variable Settings window after the original value to the securecrt.v5.5.2 installation paths, such as the following directory "; C:\ProgramFiles\SecureCRT "(without quotation marks), notice that the semicolon is less.

2. Create SecureCRT shortcut icon under C:\WINDOWS\system32 (right-click in the blank)

3. gns3-Preferences-general-terminal commands

Check "Use the system default shell"
Start securecrt/scriptf:\study\network\ccnp\gn3\dyrouter\dyrouter.vbs/t/telnet%h%p (XP system)
Start securecrt.exe/scriptd:\dyrouter.vbs/t/telnet 127.0.0.1%p (vista/win7)

4, about Dyrouter.vbs, is a script, auto enter no landing device, automatically help you change hostname for device name, automatic no ipdo lo, automatic exec-t 0 0, automatic logg s. Enter the device to do the experiment directly. Is the teacher demonstration, the student experiment Good helper. If not, please remove the path to the script in the third step ... 5, "/scriptf:\study\network\ccnp\gn3\dyrouter\dyrouter.vbs" can also not add himself to use the command of the following start d:\securecrt\securecrt.exe/t/ TELNET 127.0.0.1%p Validation succeeded, 6, explained:/T is a SECURECRT parameter, indicating a new label (note: This parameter is only SecureCRT5.2 and later versions, other versions are not),/ Telnet means to go to the Telnet protocol,%h is to telnet to the host,%p is the port to telnet to the host. 7, finally, load. net files, enter the design mode, telnetR0 or the right mouse button console to try, you can have a few devices to see, it is very convenient to know. 8, here to illustrate: quote the editor's words "The meaning of this script, I have commented in the program, the general meaning is to rename the label device name, and after the device up, the device a few common routing commands, such as: Do not need domain name lookup, never timeout, No line-wrapping interference without annoying cue messages (that is, auto-wrap, prevent messages from interfering), if you don't need these, use ' comment to these lines, or delete '. ”
