Google CEO persuaded Nokia to adopt android

Earlier this week, the departure of ARI jaaksi, Nokia's senior vice president of meego equipment, made Nokia a focus of attention, eric Schmidt, Google's chief executive, tried to persuade Stephen Elop, Nokia's chief executive, to adopt the Android system.

It is unclear whether Elop has a clear attitude towards Schmidt's proposal. However, according to TechCrunch's news, Nokia will focus on the meego system, and Schmidt has not made any progress.

The first mobile phone license using the meego system is still in the development stage, and most of its hardware design has been completed. It still needs to wait for the release of the meego official version. The meego version used by Nokia is a highly customized version, optimized for touch screen mobile phones.

Some people think that using Android is a good transitional solution before the meego system is completed. However, Nokia has publicly pointed out that using Android is a very short solution and will bring many problems. First of all, Google's operating system Android is not under Nokia's control. On the other hand, various Android services directly compete with Nokia's services, for example, Ovi store and multiple services of Symbian and meego mobile phones.
