Are you still using the so-called 91 "synchronization assistant? Are you still using the so-called "QQ synchronization assistant? Are you still worried about how to manage, back up, and synchronize large contacts, emails, schedules, and other information on your smartphone? Now, we can tell you that all this has been solved with the establishment of Google free Microsoft Exchange Server. Suriv will tell you the following through this article: 1. Back up the address book on your mobile phone to the Google server; 2. Synchronize the Google server and mobile phone Address Book in real time; 3. receive emails in real time through PushMail; 4. Arrange your calendar on your mobile phone through Google; 5. Group share and synchronize real-time address book; 6. remotely manage your address book through web pages or Outlook ......

By the way, Google has configured all of this. More importantly, you do not need to install any third-party software!

For Windows Mobile users, the built-in "seemingly annoying" ActiveSync is the basis for achieving all this. (Since Microsoft tries its best to design ActiveSync, why should we disable it ?)

Before starting to configure your Exchange service, you need to prepare:

1. A Google account (accurately speaking, it's a Gmail mailbox, if not, apply in http://gmail.com)

2. One mobile phone (S60, Palm, Blackberry, iphone, WindowsMobile, and Android)

3. If you want to synchronize all of this with your computer, you need to install a Microsoft Office Outlook on your computer. (Outlook is an integral part of the Office series. It is in parallel with Word, Excel, and so on. Generally, you may have installed Outlook when installing Office on your computer. Note that the Outlook here does not refer to the built-in Outlook Express .)

4. You must first back up all personal information (emails, contacts, calendars, and so on) on your mobile phone to avoid data loss due to misoperations.

OK! All preparations have been completed!

Similarly, for the WM system, enable ActiveSync, "menu", and "add source server ". Configure the settings according to the following parameters: (for other mobile phones, refer to the relevant instructions for Exchange configuration. But the parameters are the same as those below)

Email: your Gmail email address

Server address: m.google.com

Domain: google.com

Select "SSL connections required for the server"

Username: Gmail email address, for example, *** @ gmail.com

Password: Your Email Password

Select "Save Password"

Then, on the "select the data to be synchronized" Page, select "contacts", "calendar", and "email" as appropriate ". But in any case, do not select "task" because Google has not configured synchronization of "task.

At this point:

Click the "calendar" option and click "Configure. After clicking it, you can choose to synchronize calendars within a few weeks.

Similarly, click the "email" option to select the number of days of email downloads to save traffic.

Note: before clicking "finish", you must first click "menu" and "advanced", and then select "if there is a conflict" as "keep projects on my devices ". Otherwise, because there are no contacts on the server, all contacts in WM will be deleted during the first synchronization !! Serious consequences!

Then return to the main interface of Activesync, "menu" and "Schedule ". Set how long the synchronization will take. As persistent connections of the Sync Protocol do not consume a lot of traffic, you can set both the "peak period" and "off-peak period" to "when the project arrives ". In this way, as long as Gmail receives an email or the contact changes, it will be immediately synchronized to the network and device.

So far, mobile synchronization has been set up. After ActiveSync completes the first synchronization, log on to your Gmail mailbox and you will find that all contacts on your mobile phone are already in the Gmail "Address Book. Try to create or modify a contact in Gmail. wait a few seconds and you will find that the phone has changed accordingly!

In a whisper, on the Gmail contact page, you can intelligently "merge duplicate contacts ......

Then I tried to send myself an email, and I found that I could receive the email almost at the same time on my cell phone!

What are you waiting? In the face of free, stable Exchange services from Google, why not try powerful PIM management?
