Google recently announced the specifications of its glasses. Including 16 GB of internal storage, 5 million pixel cameras, and P-level HD videos. Wi-Fi supports 802.11b/G networks, and does not support 802.11n or AC standards. The effect the user sees through glasses is equivalent to seeing 8 feet of the display outside 25 inch. According to earlier news, Google announced to developers that "users are not allowed to be charged for downloading apps, and users cannot be charged for any functions or virtual goods ." In addition, advertisements and other commercial content cannot be added to the app.

Google makes it clear that all the early Google Glasses applications will be free of charge. Google also said that developers are not allowed to provide download links from other official channels unless they have obtained written authorization from Google. This closed approach seems to be inconsistent with the open style of Google's Android system.
