Google announced that it is testing its new directory list-type search service in China and will promote similar services to other countries ..
According to Google China, Google's browser is designed to be very convenient, and users who have no experience can easily find a search topic.
According to statistics from the Chinese Internet Information Center, Google lags behind its local rival Baidu in China's huge search market. According to a survey last year, Baidu accounts for 62% of the Chinese search market, while Google only accounts for 25%.
Baidu launched a directory list search service a few years ago. Now Google's browser will provide similar services. Similar to Baidu's services, Google's browser home page is divided into three areas. The top area shows the list of most popular websites in China. According to reports, a user's Google homepage can be updated automatically. Google's search operations are sorted based on the user's clicks. The most common website addresses are closer to the top of the user's homepage. The lower part of the home page contains several color removable word blocks. Each word block contains many URLs and belongs to one of the most popular types, such as music, news, and blogs. On the left of the home page, a toolbar contains a long string of classification titles, such as entertainment, sports, technology, books, and food. Click the title to bring up a new page containing links to the relevant website.
This service is still in the testing phase, and Google has not revealed when the service will be fully put into operation. Google's service in China is called "Google Navigation ".
