Google's Gmail has been open for a long time. Its feature is its large capacity, which is now 2 GB.

It is a waste of such a large capacity to receive and send emails. Some people who are interested have already used the Gmail plug-in to convert their mailboxes to hard disks at a cost, making it much easier to save files. But what if you want others to download the files you saved to Gmail? Although the Gmail plug-in can be used to convert Gmail to local hard disks, other people still cannot download files in Gmail.

Today, I will show you how to allow others to download your files stored in Gmail over HTTP.

Preparations:

If you want to provide others with operations such as downloading files stored in GMAIL over HTTP without entering the username and password, you need to own a home page space that can upload four PHP files and support PHP, after the upload, other users can access these webpages through the corresponding website.

Conversion operation:

Step 1: Download The GMAIL conversion tool to the local hard disk and decompress it.

Step 2: edit the config. php file, which can be opened in notepad or by using the webpage editing tool. Take notepad as an example to open the file.

Step 3: enter your GMAIL account in front of @ gmail.com and replace it with your GMAIL password at xxxxxx next to the password below.

TIPS:

If necessary, enter your home page address, user name, and password in the home page space under config. php. Of course, you do not need to enter the address if you enable the IIS Publishing Page on your local machine.

Step 4: Upload the extracted four PHP files to your homepage. For example, the space I applied for is a http://freetb.giggly.biz, after the upload is complete, make sure to enter http://freetb.giggly.biz/link.php in the browser can be normal. Note that you must have certain permissions to read the four PHP files.

Step 5: Use a browser to access the http://gmail.google.com and log on with the GMAIL account and password you just edited in config. php.

Step 6: click "tag" on the left of GMAIL to create a new tag named "share.

Step 7: Save the file to be shared with others as an attachment in the email and tag the email as share.

Step 8: After completing the settings, ask your friends to enter our free space address in the browser to access the attachments in the email with the share tag, you can download the file without entering any user name or password by right-clicking and selecting Save.

Conclusion: Using this method, we can make better use of 2 GB of GMAIL space and share files with friends more easily and conveniently.
