System guidance
If you have not installed a dual system or multiple systems, you may not know what system boot is.
In fact, the existence of system guidance is not obvious even for a single system.
System Boot provides a mechanism to choose to start the system after multiple systems are installed on the computer.
All I want to talk about is the dual-system boot for windows and centos. In my opinion, there are some common linux systems.
For example, ubuntu, debian, and kali are both guided by grub2, and EasyBCD can be easily used.
However, centos is strange because it is grub, and it is difficult to guide. (Personal experience)
I have not tried it so far. If I use windows to boot centos, I should not say anything about NeoGrub. (Ugly second-level guidance)
The best solution for centos dual-System Boot is to write the boot into MBR and directly use grub of centos to Boot windows.
In fact, this solution does not need to be implemented through anything. You only need to adjust the boot option during installation.
I have installed the linux system mentioned above. These systems are easy to set boot.
Centos boot supports many settings, such as setting the default boot system and renaming the system.
Strictly speaking, it is not a lot, but it is already quite good.
This is the boot interface of centos. It is not very good to use a camera. Sorry, we only shot the upper left corner.
I am using a USB flash drive. I have no optical drive for my laptop. The USB flash drive installation is the easiest. You can simply burn and start the USB flash drive.
After you see the boot interface, select change device.
We can see that the MBR is selected by default, and the path behind it is my USB flash drive.
If no modification is made, the installation result will be started through my USB flash drive. I want to enable the USB flash drive in the BIOS and insert
The USB flash drive can start centos.
This is too troublesome and there are too many restrictions. Many people on the Internet say that grub is installed in a USB flash drive and the USB flash drive is formatted.
I hope we will not be miserable. Take it seriously and learn more.
After changing the device, select BIOS Drive Order. Set the hard drive for windows installation to First BIOS drive.
Then, select OK.
You can press change device to see if you have installed windows Hard Disk path after MBR.
If yes, there is no problem. Next, set windows as the default startup system and rename it.
Select other in the boot interface (my windows is other) and then Edit.
In the label, rename it. I name it Windows 7. The first letter is capitalized with a space at the beginning of 7, so that it looks nice to start.
Select default boot target and set it to start the system by default.
Check whether the settings are correct. Then select next.
Rewrite MBR
In windows, EasyBCD is used.
Next, select according to the sequence marked by me. 1 and 2 are selected operations, 3 are click operations, and 4 are returned prompts.
After performing these operations, you can delete grub and directly jump into the windows boot interface.
Note: When you Uninstall a linux system, you must first perform the MBR rewriting operation. If not, it will cause a lot of trouble.
Also, when you use EasyBCD to rewrite MBR, you must activate windows. (Applicable to windows vista/7,
If you are using xp, select the following one in step 1 .)
Uninstall linux
First, rewrite the MBR. The root partition of centos cannot be formatted due to disk management in windows 7,
Therefore, to download the software for a disk partition, it is enough to download a partition assistant. I will not talk about how to format it. you can solve it by yourself.
