Graphic tutorial on creating encrypted flash memory with TrueCrypt

Source: Internet

TrueCrypt stores the encrypted information in the specified file in this example. In this example, the "PrivacyZone" file uses the AES encryption method. Then, use TrueCrypt to virtualize the "PrivacyZone" file into a disk. In this example, it is a "z" disk. for users, copy the file to be encrypted to the "z" disk. What is the capacity of the "z" disk? This is determined by the "PrivacyZone" file we created. In this example, it is 10 MB. You can use this virtualized "disk" as a real physical disk. After you complete the encryption operation, do not forget to use TrueCrypt to detach the disk. Otherwise ......

This is a graphic tutorial. Now the main character is on the stage!

Run TrueCrypt. the main interface is shown in Figure 2:

Click [Create Volume] and the page shown in Figure 3 is displayed:

Select [Standard TrueCrypt volume] And then [Next]. The page shown in Figure 5 is displayed:

Select [Select File]. The page shown in Figure 6 is displayed:

To encrypt the data in the flash drive, the encrypted data should also be stored in the flash drive, I temporarily place the file with encrypted information under the root directory of the flash drive (the file location will change later). The file name is set to "PrivacyZone ", you can customize the file name.

Then [Next], the page shown in Figure 8 is displayed. The default value is enough. AES:
