Installation Guide:
The installation of the video card is slightly different, depending on whether the existing video card is replaced or if the video card is installed on your PC for the first time.
1, replace the existing video card
If you want to replace an existing video card, you need to do the following:
A. Start your computer, and then uninstall the old video driver.
B. Shut down your computer and then remove the old video card.
C. Install the new video card and connect the monitor.
D. Reboot the computer and install new drivers and software.
E. Restart your computer.
2, the first time in the PC to install the video card
If you are installing the video card for the first time in your PC, you need to do the following:
A. In the case of shutting down the computer, install the video card, and then connect the monitor.
B. Start your computer, and then install new drivers and software.
C. Restart your computer.
3, uninstall the old driver (Windows vista/windows 7)
Follow these steps to uninstall the existing video driver to install a new video card.
A. Close all open applications while your current video card remains on your computer.
B. Click the Control Panel in the start.
C. Click Programs, click Programs and features, and go to the uninstall and Change program interface.
D. Uninstall the old driver.
E. Shutting down the system.
4, Hardware Installation
A, Safety Notice
Ⅰ. Static electricity can seriously damage the electronic components on the graphics card, please try to avoid unnecessary contact with the parts on the graphics card. When you install the video card, please touch the metal conductive material first, to ensure that your body does not carry static electricity.
Ⅱ. In the process of loading and transporting, it is easy to cause damage. Do not power up when you find that the video card is significantly damaged.
Ⅲ. When you install or unplug the video card, please turn off the computer power first.
Ⅳ. The poor use of dust, humidity and high temperature will affect the life of the video card, so try to avoid using this product in these environments.
Ⅴ. If there is any technical problem in the use of this product, please contact the Official 400 service hotline or distributor.
B, start the installation
I. Turn off computers, monitors and other peripherals.
Ii. unplug the power cord from the computer and disconnect all cables from the back of the computer.
Attention:
After the power cable is unplugged, wait approximately 20 seconds before disconnecting the perimeter cable or removing the assembly from the motherboard to prevent damage to the motherboard.
Iii. Remove the computer casing, unscrew the screws if necessary, and remove any existing video cards from the computer.
Iv. find the appropriate bus slot, make sure that there is no cable in the slot, align the video card with the slot, and press it down hard until the card is fully seated.
V. Install the video card securely on the back panel to ensure that the internal cable does not interfere with any components within the computer (such as a cooling fan) and then load the computer casing back.
Vi. Reconnect all cables that you disconnected during installation, plug in the computer's power cord, turn on the monitor, and turn on the computer.
5. Software Installation
To install or remove software, you must have administrator privileges or log on as a user with administrator privileges.
Note: If your operating system uses a language that is not supported, the installation dialog will be displayed in English. Let's take windows 7 for example.
Ⅰ. Please put the CD into the CD drive, under normal circumstances, the CD will automatically play, click "Run Autorun.exe", and then in the Pop-up installation Wizard Click "Install video card driver." If the system does not eject the above Installation Wizard, run the drive CD directly
The Autorun.exe file under the root directory.
Ⅱ. The CD will automatically detect the hardware, eject the dialog box, accept the agreement, and click Next.
Ⅲ. Select the location where the drive is extracted, generally by default to the system disk, click OK.
Ⅳ. Click Next (N).
Ⅴ. Click Yes (Y) to agree to accept the license agreement and start the entire installation process.
Ⅵ. Complete the installation and restart the computer.
Ⅶ. During the installation process, there will be a wait time, the screen will appear flashing, this is normal phenomenon.
Attention:
Ⅰ. If the installer cannot install the driver, or there is a software conflict, download the latest software and install it.
