Experiment 3: Group Policy Filtering

Lab Objectives

The user in ou inherits the default domain policy. The default domain policy does not allow you to modify the desktop background. The ou contains user L and G, which prevents user g from applying GPO settings.

Lab procedure

1. According to experiment 2, ou (CW) users inherit the default domain policy and cannot modify the desktop background.

2. Stop ou's G user from applying the Default policy

On the Group Policy Management page, click the specified GPO. In the window on the right, choose delegate> advanced> Add User. Select reject read and apply group policy.
