Domain ControllerWhat is it? How to SetGroup PolicySo that general domain users can log on to the computer as the domain controller? The specific content is as follows.

The domain controller contains a database composed of the Account, password, and computer information of the domain. It manages the entire Windows domain and all computers in the domain. Configuring the domain controller is conducive to centralized Configuration Management for users in the domain and provides security protection for network shared resources. Therefore, configuring the domain controller is an important part of Windows Server 2003 Server Security Configuration.

In Active Directory, the domain name of each Domain Name System DNS is identified as a domain, and each domain is managed by one or more domain controllers. For example, if the domain name is "myzyy.com", you must have a server with the domain controller function.

The role of the domain is as follows:

1. Use a domain account to log on to any host in the domain.

2. You can log on with a domain account to access all authorized resources in the domain.

3. the system administrator in this domain can assign an authorized domain account to improve system security and facilitate centralized account management.

When a computer is connected to the network, the domain controller first needs to identify whether the computer belongs to this domain, whether the user's Logon account exists, and whether the password is correct. If the preceding information is incorrect, the domain controller rejects the user from logging on to the computer. If you cannot log on, you will not be able to access resources that are protected by permissions on the server. You can only access resources shared by Windows in the same way as an Internet user, this protects network resources to a certain extent.

Therefore, a warning message is usually prompted when the region controller is used for Logon. How can a general domain user log on to a computer as a domain controller?

We can enable the Group Policy to allow users to log on to the domain controller using the region.

1. perform the following operations: "Start"-"Administrative Tools"-"AD users and computers"-"right-click Domain Controllers OU"-"attribute"-"group policy ".

3. Run the following command: "Computer Configuration"-"windows Settings"-"Security Settings"-"Local Policy"-"Assign permissions with Logon"-and double-click "Allow Local Logon ".

After the "Allow Local login" permission is granted to the user, the user can now log on using the "Allow Local login" permission.
