[Command] display mac-address aging-time [view] any view [parameter] No [description] display mac-address aging-time command is used to display the aging of dynamic table items in the MAC address table time. For more information about the configuration, see mac-address, mac-address timer, and display mac-address. [Example] www.2cto.com # Shows the aging time of dynamic table items in the MAC address table. <H3C> display mac-address aging-time Mac address aging time: more than 300 s: the aging time of dynamic table items in the MAC address table is 300 s. <H3C> display mac-address aging-time Mac address aging time: no-aging the preceding information indicates that the dynamic table items in the MAC address table are not aging. [Command] display mac-address [display-option] [view] any view [parameter] display-option: displays some MAC address table information that can be selected, the value range is shown in the table. Table display-option parameter values and definitions value meanings mac-address [vlan-id] displays the specified MAC address information {static | dynamic | blackhole} [interface-type interface-number] [vlan-id] [count] Display Dynamic, static, or black hole MAC address information interface-type interface-number [vlan-id] [count] display all MAC address information vlan-id [count] display all MAC address information in the specified VLAN count display the total number of MAC address entries in the vswitch statistics display statistics of the MAC address entries in the vswitch mac address Table MAC-address: MAC address. Static: static table item, not aging. Dynamic: a dynamic table item that is aging. Blackhole: Black Hole MAC Address Table item, will not aging. Interface-type: Port type. Interface-number: port number. Vlan-id: the specified vlan id. value range: 1 ~ 4094. Count: only the total number of addresses in the MAC address table is displayed. Statistics: displays the MAC address table items in the current switch in the form of statistical data. [Description] The display mac-address command www.2cto.com is used to display the MAC address forwarding table information, including the VLAN and Ethernet port corresponding to the MAC address, address status (static or dynamic), and aging time. [Example] # display the MAC address forwarding table information. <H3C> display mac-address 000f-e20f-0101 mac addr vlan id state port index aging time (s) 000f-e20f-0101 1 Learned Ethernet1/0/1 300 table display mac-address command display information description table field description mac addr mac address vlan id the vlan id of the MAC address state mac address status, whether the port index port aging time (s), such as "Static" and "Learned", is in the form of a command in the mac-address [command] system view during the aging time: mac-address {static | dynamic | blackhole} mac-address interface-type inter Command Format in the face-number vlan-id undo mac-address [mac-address-attribute] port view: mac-address {static | dynamic | blackhole} mac-address vlan-id undo mac-address {static | dynamic | blackhole} mac-address vlan-id [view] System View /port view [parameter] static: configure static MAC address table items. Value and meaning of mac-address-attribute in www.2cto.com {static | dynamic | blackhole} interface-type interface-number Delete the static, dynamic, or black hole MAC address on the specified port {static | dynamic | blackhole} vlan-id Delete static, dynamic, or black hole MAC address {static | dynamic | blackhole} mac-address [interface-type interface-number] vlan-id: delete a specified static, dynamic, or black hole MAC address interface-type interface-number www.2cto.com delete a specified port All MAC addresses on table items vlan-id delete all MAC addresses in a specified VLAN table items mac-address [interface-type interface-number] vlan-id delete a specified MAC address the mac-address command is used to add/modify an address table entry in the MAC address forwarding table. The undo mac-address command is used to delete address table items. In the port view, use the mac-address command to add or delete MAC address table items, which only takes effect on the current port. Therefore, you do not need to use the interface parameter. If the entered MAC address already exists in the address table, the system will modify the related attributes of this address table item based on the user's configuration. You can delete all MAC addresses (only unicast MAC addresses) on a port ), you can also choose to delete the address automatically learned by the system, the dynamic address configured by the user, the static address configured by the user, or the Black Hole address. [Example] # configure the static MAC address table. The MAC address is 000f-e20f-0101, the outbound port is Ethernet1/0/1, and the ports Ethernet1/0/1 are in VLAN 2. <H3C> system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl + Z. [H3C] mac-address static 000f-e20f-0101 interface Ethernet 1/0/1 vlan 2 mac-address max-mac-count [command] mac-address max-mac-count undo mac-address max -mac-count [view] Ethernet port view [parameters] count: maximum number of MAC addresses that a port can learn. The value range is 0 ~ 8192. If the value is 0, the port cannot learn the MAC address. [Description] The www.2cto.com mac-address max-mac-count command is used to set the maximum number of MAC addresses that can be learned on an Ethernet port, the undo mac-address max-mac-count command is used to remove the maximum number of MAC addresses that can be learned on an Ethernet port. By default, the system has no limit on the maximum number of MAC addresses that can be learned from the port. Note: commands above z do not support setting the upstream port. Z if you have configured the mac-address max-mac-count command on a port, you cannot use the undo mac-address dynamic command to delete the specified dynamic MAC address on the port. [Example] # set the maximum number of MAC addresses learned by the Ethernet port Ethernet1/0/3 to 600. <H3C> system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl + Z. [H3C] interface Ethernet1/0/3 [H3C-Ethernet1/0/3] mac-address max-mac-count 600 mac-address timer [command] mac-address timer {aging age | no-aging} undo mac-address timer aging [view] www.2cto.com System View [parameter] aging age: aging time of two-layer address dynamic table items. value range: 10 ~ 1000000, in seconds. No-aging: not aging. [Description] The mac-address timer command is used to set the aging time of two-layer address dynamic table items. The undo mac-address timer command is used to restore the default value of the address dynamic table item aging time. By default, the aging time of dynamic MAC table items is 300 seconds. The aging time of dynamic table items in the MAC address table depends on the user's actual needs. However, pay attention to the influence of the aging time on the layer-2 forwarding function: if the aging time is too short, the address will be deleted too early. When the switch receives a packet sent to the deleted MAC address, it broadcasts the packet to all ports in the same VLAN, this unnecessary broadcast will affect the running performance. If the aging time is too long, the unused addresses will exist in the address table for a long time. This will affect the timely refresh of the address table of the Ethernet switch. In this case, time delay may occur when the workstation moves from one port to another. [Example] # Set the aging time of the two-layer address dynamic table item to 500 seconds. <H3C> system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl + Z.
