Help for creating an external reference with a name defined in another Workbook (Excel)

Open the workbook that contains external reference (target workbook) and the workbook that contains the data to be linked (source workbook ).
In the source workbook, click Save on the quick access toolbar ".
Select the cells in which you want to create an external reference.
Type = (equal sign ). If you want to calculate or function the value of an external reference, type an operator or function before the external reference.
In the "window" group on the "View" tab, click "switch window", click the source workbook, and then click the worksheet of the cell to be linked.
