Folder option in win7 has this option:

Some empty drive disks reported by card reader can be hidden (normally there is no plug-in card at this time, but if your card reader supports auto dlink, the entire device will disappear from the Device Manager, no empty drive disk will appear)

This option corresponds to the location in the Registry as follows. We can use tool to modify the value of this location, which has achieved the purpose of modifying this option.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced \ hidedriveswithnomedia (REG_DWORD)

This value is 1, indicating hidden, 0 indicating display.
