For the first time, create a password Disk: click "create password disk, in the pop-up window of "Create a secret disk" (Figure 2), after the "Name of the secret disk", you can use a short text to describe the purpose of the secret disk, it serves the same purpose as the volume label of a disk, but it is not displayed on the volume label of the opened volume. It is only used to distinguish the volume intuitively. The "Password Drive Letter" is to assign a letter to the Password Drive. from the drop-down list below, we can only select the drive letter that has not been assigned. The allocated drive letter is not displayed in the list. The "space is created" option is used to set the partition of the space occupied by the encrypted disk. That is to say, because the encrypted disk is not a separate disk partition, it is attached to an existing partition, we must select an attached partition for it. This is the use of this item. To ensure security, we should also set an enable password for him. We just need to click "set password" and enter the password at the prompt location to confirm, so that a secret disk partition will be built.
Figure 2 if we want to open an existing encrypted disk, just select the one to open, click the "open encrypted disk" button, and enter the password as prompted, at this time, we can see the encrypted disk drive letter F in "My Computer" (Figure 3). the operation on the encrypted disk is no different from that on the ordinary disk partition, copy, paste, and delete all disks. In addition, you can select a secret disk on the software interface, right-click the menu and choose "Operation on the encrypted disk"> "Import folders from the primary disk" or "Import files from the primary disk" to import files or folders to the encrypted disk; when we close a hard disk, the letter of the hard disk disappears from "My Computer". If we do not want a hard disk, we can delete it, you can choose to delete the encrypted disk under the "Operation on the encrypted disk" menu. A prompt is displayed (4 ), if you do not want the content in the encrypted disk, you can click "Clear the content of the encrypted disk". For example, when you click "transfer the content of the encrypted disk to the space to provide the disk, the contents of the encrypted disk are transferred to the disk partition that provides space for the encrypted disk.
