Hiding items in the Win8 Control Panel, because it is an older Intel integrated video card, you can only use the Win7 driver after installing WIN8, but Windows Update automatically updates the driver, which results in the failure of the Intel video card settings in the Control Panel. In order to remove this setting, only the video driver is unloaded, but the driver is not necessarily uninstalled, so we can hide the items in Windows Control Panel through the local Group Policy Editor.
Open the Run window (shortcut key win+r), enter gpedit.msc and click OK, the system will open the local Group Policy Editor, in the Local Group Policy Editor window select User Configuration → admin template → control Panel,
Locate and double-click the specified Control Panel item to open
Select Enabled to turn on the feature, and then click on the display in the options to set the control Panel items that need to be hidden.
Fill in the name of the Control Panel item that you want to hide (you can right-click the item in Control Panel and choose to create a shortcut to copy its name from the shortcut on the desktop).
When the settings are complete and then return to the Control Panel, you can see that the hidden Control Panel items have not been shown in Control Panel.
