High Load AVG value caused by mcelog. cron

Source: Internet

When the load AVG of the DB server is too high, it is found that the "murderer" is mcelog. cron.

The Code is as follows:

Code #! /Bin/bash

If [-E/proc/xen] & ['cat/sys/hypervisor/uuuuid '! = "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"]; then
# This is a PV xen guest. Do not run mcelog.
Exit 1;
Else
/Usr/sbin/mcelog -- ignorenodev -- filter>/var/log/mcelog
Fi

Pay attention to the "'cat/sys/hypervisor/uuid'", and the system will be stuck here, that is, it is useless to use kill-9 to kill its process number.

After running for a period of time, you will find that the process queue has a lot of cron information about it.

I personally think there are two solutions:

1. Modify the script (recommended)

2. Delete this cron task
