High-speed download to save the Power mule's labor results

I believe many friends who use emule to download movies often encounter such a situation: hard to download a long time of the film, because no one else to continue to provide download resources (equivalent to the "seed" in BT), resulting in the film can not continue to download, this phenomenon is called "cut-off." There is no download to complete the film as "chicken Ribs", discard, can not directly watch. Do you just let the "electric Mule" of the hard work in vain? No, we have to let the downloaded part of the movie be able to watch!

Example one: Manual repair of "cut-off" files

As we know, emule will store some files with extension part and met in its temporary folder during the download, and observe that it can be found that the part file is larger and the Met file is usually only a few KB.

Tip: A file with the extension part is a temporary file that emule created during the download, while a file with the extension met contains information about the part file, which is equivalent to an index file.

As long as you copy the part files to another location, and then modify the extension, you can play it. The problem is that only the part file found in the temporary folder doesn't tell you what type it is, and if you have the patience to try it out one by one, it's a bit of a hassle. We still need to look for clues from the emule itself.

Start emule, and then find the name of the already-interrupted movie file under "Transport", and now what we're going to do is find out the corresponding relationship between the file name of the downloaded resource in the emule and the part file in the temporary folder:

Right-click the cutoff file, select Show file Details from the shortcut menu, and in the dialog box, under File information, you can see the real name of the file and emule the Met file name generated in the temporary folder when it was downloaded (Figure 1). Based on the name of the Part.met file, it can be inferred that its corresponding file name in the temporary folder, for example, "001.part.met" information indicates that the file is named "001.part" in the temporary folder.

If you don't believe it, you can switch to the Meta Data tab and see that the corresponding file appears just after the "temporary file" line (Figure 2).
