4. What is FTP resumable upload?

Sometimes it may take several hours for a user to upload files through FTP. If the line is interrupted, an FTP server that does not have an FTP breakpoint can only re-transmit the files from scratch; the FTP server on China's hichina "virtual host" has the FTP breakpoint resume capability, allowing users to continue transmission from the place where the upload is broken, which greatly reduces users' troubles.

9. FTP commands

The Ftp command transfers files between a local machine and a remote machine. The general format of this command is as follows:

C:> ftp host name/IP Address

The most common commands are:

Ls to list the current directory of the remote machine

Cd changes the working directory on a remote machine

LCD changes the working directory on the local machine

Set the file transmission mode to ascii in ASCII mode.

Set the file transfer mode to binary.

Close to terminate the current ftp session

Get (mget) transfers specified files from a remote machine to a Local Machine

Put (mput) transfers the specified file from the local machine to the remote machine

Open connection to remote ftp site
