Hive invalid maximum heap size:-xmx4096m error Solution

When you build a hadoop (0.1.8.2) and hive (0.6) Environment in cygwin in windows, the following error occurs:

$ Hive

Cocould not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Invalid maximum heap size:-xmx4096m
The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.

Solution:

Modify the hive-0.6.0 \ bin \ ext \ util \ exechivecmd. Sh file as follows:

# Hadoop_heapsize = 4096
Hadoops _heapsize = 128

If you use cygwin in Windows to log on with putty, you may encounter a problem that is not prompted after the hive command. If you use cygwin directly, there is no such problem.
