Horizon view 6.0 RDS-based application released

 

I recently tested the new VMware horizon view6.0 product. Compared with the previous version, there are still many improvements. In the application release section, the released application is published through the RDS host, and the published application can be displayed through the view client link. Write down what you know with a learning attitude. If you have any questions, please kindly advise.

 

 

• Horizon view6.0 environment deployment (omitted)

 

• Configure Remote Desktop host

 

The RDS host must be added to the domain where the view host is located, and the Microsoft Remote Desktop service role must be installed. View Agent version 6.0 must be installed on the RDS host (the RDS server system must be Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or later)

 

Open the Server Manager on the RDS server --- click role --- add role-select remote desktop service-Next select the Remote Desktop Session host on the select role Service Page.

 

Install view agent6.0 and install the application software to be released on the server. After the configuration is completed, go to the view management interface for configuration.

 

• Application release Configuration

Open the browser and enter the IP address of view connection server https: // ip/admin to enter the management interface. Make sure that the RDS server has been registered in view, click View configuration-a registered computer can view the status of the current RDS.

Click resource ----- field ----- add field

Next, select the RDS host to be added

Click Finish to complete the field addition.

Click "directory"> "application pool"> "add application pool", select the application to be published, and click "Next ".

Click Finish to add the application pool and authorize the user.

After authorization, you can log on to the terminal through viewclient. After logon, you can see the user's desktop and available applications.
