    First, Introduction

    Terminal Services refers to the functionality that Windows provides in order to support multiple, interactive user sessions in a single system. With Windows Terminal Services, a remote user can establish a session on another machine and log in to run the application on that server. The server transmits the graphical user interface to the client, and the client sends the user's input back to the server. Microsoft has modified the name of Terminal Services in Windows Server 2008 and R2, which is called Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and the functionality of RDS and Terminal Services implementations is the same, but RDS has increased relative to Terminal Services, For example, the RDS service enables users to access applications and virtual desktops, as shown in. The latest version of RDS is Windows Server R2, and deploying and configuring the RDS service in Windows Server R2 is also much more convenient than the previous version.
