The mayanei hayeshua Medical Center in Israel said on Tuesday that the center has started to use the Apple iPad to help medical staff treat patients, provide consultation, and analyze the results of X-ray and CT scans.

Mayanei hayeshua Medical Center said it was the first hospital to use Apple iPad for medical treatment. Through cooperation with an external technology company, the computer department of the center has compiled a set of programs to integrate the iPad with Microsoft's chameleon software for interaction.

Mayanei hayeshua, CEO of the Medical Center, Yoram liwer, said: "All patient data is stored on the iPad. Even if you are not in the hospital, you can use the iPad to view the X-ray and ultrasound results, then give valuable treatment advice."

However, if doctors take patient data out of the hospital, how to ensure the safety of patient information remains to be discussed.
