The following are my ipsettings:
Local Connection IP Address: 192.168.1.23
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS: 202.96.128.86
Development Board IP Address: 192.168.1.230
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS: 202.96.128.86
Virtual Machine Ubuntu IP: 192.168.1.108
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS: 202.96.128.86
- Use the bridge mode. In the VM VMware: Edit-> vitual network Editor, select your local Nic from the bridge settings in vmnet0.(Previously I asked it to be automatically selected, which may lead to the selection of wireless network cards, so the virtual machine has been unable to ping the Development Board --!).For example:
- Static IP addresses must be set for the host, virtual machine, and Development Board respectively, and must be in the same network segment, such as 192.168.1. * (* the backend is different). Other subnet masks, gateways, and DNS are set to the same.
- Connect the development board network cable to the host, and ping it to connect to the host ~ For example:
Host Ping-through development board
Host Ping VM
Virtual Machine ping Development Board
