How can I enable the wireless router to access the Internet only on a specified computer?

Due to some reasons, the password of the wireless router is often cracked by some people and downloaded continuously, which makes it impossible for normal office or entertainment. Therefore, it is best to bind the MAC Nic address of the computer to the wireless router to prohibit unfamiliar network connections. This article takes the TD-89841N wireless router I am using as an example. First, you must maintain that you can connect to the Internet normally. Open the browser and enter the Gateway address in the address bar of the browser. The wireless router logon interface shown in the following figure is displayed. Enter the user name and password of the wireless router to enter the router management interface. The Gateway address of the wireless router in this article is 192.168.0.1, and the default address is 192.168.1.1. I changed the default gateway of the wireless router.

 
After entering the control interface of the wireless router, find "wireless MAC address filtering" in wireless settings on the left side and click. The right window shown in the following figure appears.

Check whether the MAC address filtering function is enabled?

Note: If you are using wireless Internet access to the vro, it is best to disable it first, because it will immediately be dropped when it is enabled. If it's wired, you don't need to worry about it.

This means that only the MAC Nic address set below can be used to log on. Other wireless computers cannot use this wireless router to access the network. After the selection, click Add new entry. Add a new MAC Nic address.

Click Add new entry. A new page is displayed, as shown in the following figure. Add a new computer to the page. The MAC address is the MAC address of the wireless network card to be connected. The description is dispensable. The description only allows you to know who the MAC address is, but it is easy to manage. The status is set to take effect. If it fails, the wireless connection of this person cannot be connected to the wireless route. Save the settings to take effect.

Note: the format of the preceding figure is incorrect. Because of the different vrouters, the format of the mac url is not necessarily set. For details, refer to the following format. So the d8-5d-4c-07-04-f2 format is wrong, it should be d8: 5d: 4c: 07: 04: f2 is correct. Otherwise, it cannot be saved.

After setting, check whether the MAC address filtering function is "enabled". It is useless if it is not enabled.

Select "allow the valid MAC address in the list to access this wireless network. Otherwise, it won't work.
