How can i reset the Oracle password if Oracle forgets to sys/system/scott the user password?

CONN SYS/ as SYSDBA; ALTER USER  by Newpass;

Note: Passwords cannot be all numbers. and cannot be a number start. Otherwise it will appear: ORA-00988: Password is missing or invalid

2. Forget the SYS user, or the password of the system user.

(1) If you forget the password of the system user, you can log in with the SYS user. Then change the password with alter USER Chitian.

CONN SYS// as SYSDBA; ALTER USER  by Newpass;

(2) If the password of the SYS user is forgotten, you can log in with the system user. Then change the password with alter USER Chitian.

CONN SYSTEM//Pass_word; ALTER USER  by Newpass;

3. If the Sys,system user's password is forgotten or lost. This item is particularly important. You can use the ORAPWD.EXE tool to modify the password.

Start menu, run as input ' CMD ', open a command Prompt window and enter the following command:

file = D:\oracle\product\10.2. 0\db_1\database\pwdctcsys.orapassword=newpass

This command regenerates the password file for the database. The location of the password file is under the \database directory in the Oracle_home directory. This password is the password that modifies the SYS user. Passwords for other users except SYS and system will not change.
