How can I set IE10 on win8 to open a window on the new tab?

1. Click "tools" in the IE command bar or the upper right corner and select "Internet Options ";

2. In the "general" option, click the "tab" button;



3. Check that "Enable tab browsing" is selected,
In the displayed window, select always open in new tab ",
Select "new tab in current window" in "open link from other programs below ",
"OK" and then re-open IE to take effect.

 

For other IE browsers, refer to this method if they are ie10 or later.
