How can I solve the problem of deployment of Sqlserver network access on Azure? azuresqlserver
Recently, when deploying the Azure virtual machine, you have never been able to access the network database. You only need to find the information. By default, Azure does not enable the inbound rules, and you need to set them manually.
Open TCP port for the default database engine instance in Windows Firewall
1. In the Start Menu, click Run, type WF. msc, and click OK ".
2. In the left-side pane of "Advanced Security Windows Firewall", right-click "inbound rules" and click "new rule" in the Action pane ".
3. In the "rule type" dialog box, select "Port" and click "Next ".
4. In the "protocol and port" dialog box, select "TCP ". Select "specific local port", and then type the database engine instance port number (default instance port number 1433 or the port number you selected for the private port in the terminal step ).
5. Click "Next ".
6. In the "operations" dialog box, select "allow connection" and click "Next ".
Security Description: select "only allow secure connections" to increase security. Select this option if you want to configure other security options in the environment.
7. In the "configuration file" dialog box, select "public" and click "Next ".
Security Description: select "public" to allow access over the Internet. If possible, select a more restrictive configuration file.
8. In the "name" dialog box, type A Name and description for the rule, and click "finish ".
Open additional ports for other components as needed.
