Adjust paragraph spacing
To adjust the spacing before or after a paragraph, follow these steps:
Select the paragraph for which you want to adjust spacing.
On the Format menu, click the paragraph in the Open Paragraph dialog box.
One or two of the following actions performed on the Indentation and Spacing tabs:
Under Spacing, change the spacing before the paragraph you want in the previous box.
In the spacing, the bottom box is changed to the spacing after the paragraph you want.
Click OK to close the Paragraph dialog box.
