Q: I am studying in Japan now, the notebook is the Japanese version of Windows Xp,office 2003 is also Japanese version, has been very normal for two years. But before long appeared the problem, open Word, Chinese and English input method under the system is normal, but switch to Japanese input method, enter a few words after the car word stopped responding, and open a Japanese document will have this phenomenon.
Reinstall Office 2003 After uninstalling, the problem remains. However, it is normal to enter Japanese in a program such as WordPad, Notepad, Excel, and so on. What is going on, how to solve?
A : This problem is caused by the Japanese input method and only affects the current account. A workaround is provided below.
Log on to the system as an administrator and open the following folder:
C:documents and Settingsadministratorapplication Datamicrosoftimjp8_1
Replace the imjp81u.txt file under this folder with a file of the same name as your original account, where:
C:documents and Settings original account name Application DataMicrosoftIMJP8imjp81u.txt
Then Word will return to normal, just to be aware that the previously saved personal vocabulary is lost.
