How do I convert text in a Word document to a table
1. Create text in your document that you want to convert to a table, press TAB to separate text, and then press and hold the left mouse button to select all text, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Open the Insert tab, click the Table button in the table group, and select the Convert Text to table option in the Open list, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Open the Convert Text to Table dialog box, select the TAB radio button to determine that the text is delimited by tabs when you tab, and in the number of columns increment box, enter a number to set the number of columns, as shown in Figure 3.

4. When you click the OK button to close the Convert Text to Table dialog box, the text is arranged according to the table size you set, as shown in Figure 4.
