1. Enter formatted text in Windows Notepad, where each data item is separated by a space, but you can also use commas, semicolons, and tabs as delimiters. After the input is complete, save the text file and exit;

2. In Excel, open the text file you just saved, the Text Import Wizard-3 Steps 1 dialog box appears, select separator symbol, and click Next.

The general data format converts numeric values to numeric formats, date values are converted to date formats, and the rest of the data is converted to text format. Click the Finish button.
