Program ImageReady2.0 is a Photoshop5.5 new plug-in, using a Jump button (as shown in Figure 1) to jump between two programs. Can you jump to other image browsers and editors in Photoshop5.5? The answer is yes.
The following is an example of the famous image software ACDsee3.0, which shows how to jump from Photoshop5.5 to other image programs.
To do this: first create a shortcut for the ACDsee.exe file, and then drag or copy the shortcut to the Photoshop5.5\helpers\jump to Graphics Editor directory, all ok! As shown in Figure 2.
The next time you start Photoshop, when you open an image (if there is no image in Photoshop, the Jump to command is unavailable), execute the Jump to command of the File menu, select the ACDSee menu item, and start the ACDSee program as shown in Figure 3.
From the menu above Figure 3, we can find that Adobe ImageReady 2.0 has a shortcut key "Shft+ctrl+m", so it is the Photoshop5.5 default jump program. When we click the Jump button at the bottom of the toolbox (as shown in Figure 1) or press the key combination "Shift+ctrl+m", Photoshop5.5 jumps to ImageReady 2.0. This is the default setting for Photoshop5.5.
Note that in Figure 2, the shortcut key for Adobe ImageReady 2.0 has a pair of curly braces "{}". This is the logo that Photoshop recognizes as the default jump program. We can also change this default setting so that the Jump button or accelerator "Shift+ctrl+m" launches other programs, such as ACDSee.
The method is simple, using the Rename method to remove the curly braces from the Adobe imageready 2.0 shortcut in the jump to Graphics Editor directory, and then add curly braces to the ACDSee shortcut keys. As shown in Figure 4.
Starting Photoshop5.5 again, you will find that the shortcut "Shft+ctrl+m" has been given acdsee in the jump to submenu, as shown in Figure 5. If you click the Jump button at the bottom of the toolbox, the ACDSee program starts.
One thing to note is that Photoshop5.5 and ImageReady2.0 share a jump to Graphics editor directory, so Photoshop can jump to the program, ImageReady can also jump to. ImageReady The default jump program is Photoshop5.5. Note that in the jump to Graphics editor directory, the Photoshop5.5 shortcut has a pair of bracket "[]". This is exactly the flag of the ImageReady2.0 default jump program.
In addition, ImageReady is also unique to a Jump to HTML editor directory, where a shortcut to an HTML file editor (such as Dreamwaver) is placed in the directory, which can be "imageready to" in Jump by the HTML editor.
