How do I know whether the system partition format is ext4 or ext3? -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. Today, I want to partition a new disk by using pm7.0 (because the partition will be formatted when partitioning by this tool in winxp ). Now go to linux. I used mkfs. ext4 to format two partitions: sdb1 and sdb10. However, it cannot be seen from fdisk-l, as if other tools could not. How should we differentiate them? If mount is used (automatic identification is not required), who knows whether ext2, ext3, or ext4 should be used after-t. Will it be tested one by one?
