How do I remove the extra CD-ROM drive letter from the WIN8 system?

How do we remove invalid drive letter, extra disk descriptors the computer looks very messy, how to delete these invalid letter? The following share the deletion method.

Press and hold the shortcut key Win+r

Open Run input compmgmt.msc carriage return

Select Disk Management in the window

This is the disc drive letter

Right-click the drive letter that you want to remove, and select Change Drive letter and path.

In the pop-up window, the single Machine delete button, select "Yes" to remove the invalid drive letter, to determine the save.

Note: Do not delete the real optical drive letter, otherwise it will affect the use of real optical drive. To determine if the real letter, right click to select pop-up options, Joguang flooding pop-up, is the real letter, if not eject, is invalid CD drive letter.
