How do I set and change my desktop background?

I. Setting up a desktop background

1. Open Display Properties

Move the mouse over the blank space on the desktop, and then right-click, and the right mouse button pops up, and click Properties on the menu.

You can also open the Display Properties window with the previous method: Open Control Panel, and then click the Appearance and Theme icon. In the Appearance and Themes window, click Change the subject of your computer.

2. Select Desktop Background picture

Next, click the Desktop tab on the Display Properties window, open the Desktop tab, where we can change the desktop background by clicking the wallpaper name under the background bar with the left mouse button, and the blue color block appears under the name each time you click a name, "background" There will also be a preview of the wallpaper on the monitor on the bar, and if you want to see more wallpaper, you can also see all the wallpaper names on the background list by using the Drop-down slider next to the mouse. When you select a new wallpaper, click the OK button to close the window.

If you want to select a different picture as the wallpaper, you can do so in the following way.

1. Browse pictures

Click the Browse button on the Desktop tab of the Display Properties window.

2. Open the picture

In the Browse dialog box, select the picture you want to use as a wallpaper, and then click the Open button.

3. Set background picture

In the preview window, you can see the picture that will be the wallpaper. You can also select the distribution of the picture on the desktop in the location Drop-down list, with 3 ways of centering, tiling, and stretching. Finally click the OK button to complete the operation.

There's a much simpler way to change your desktop background double-click to open a picture, and then right-click the picture on the right mouse button to open the menu, you will be in the right mouse button to see a menu called "Set as Desktop Background" option, click it to set the picture to a new desktop background.
