1. Select an object to add an animation effect to the slide, click the Effect Options button in the animation group, and select the option in the Open Drop-down list to modify the animation's running effect, as shown in Figure 1.

2, on the Animation tab, in the timing group, click the Down Triangle button on the start Drop-down list, and in the Open Drop-down list, select how the animation starts to play, as shown in Figure 2.

Attention
Here the options in the Start Drop-down list box are used to set the time when the animation starts to play. Select the On Click option, the animation starts playing only when the mouse is clicked, and the With previous animation option, the animation starts at the same time as the previous animation, and the After Previous option is selected. The animation starts after the previous animation completes.
3. Enter the time value in the duration spinner in the timing group to set the duration of the animation, and the length of time determines the speed of the animation. Enter a value in the delay spinner to set the animation delay time, as shown in Figure 3.
