Setup Steps

First Step: Route link

Without the use of routers, the computer directly connected to broadband Internet access, now using routers to share broadband Internet access, you need to use a router to directly connect broadband. According to the difference of household broadband line, can be divided into network cable, telephone line, optical fiber three kinds of access methods. Please refer to the connection method:

Note: The broadband cable must be connected to the WAN port, the WAN port color is different from the LAN port, the computer connection 1\2\3\4 any one port.

If the corresponding LED is not lit, please follow the following methods:

1, check the connection of the corresponding interface cable interface is loose.

2. Replace the network cable connected with the corresponding interface to test.

3, replace the other interface, test whether normal.

4, using other computers (network devices) to connect the interface, testing is normal.

5. Use a network cable to connect the LAN port to the WAN port directly, test the light is normal. Such as:

If you pass the above test, the corresponding interface LED is still not normal, you can be judged as an interface hardware problem.

Step Two: Login to the router's setup interface 1 , enter the router management address

Open the Internet Explorer on your computer desktop, clear the Address bar and enter the router management IP address 192.168.1.1, enter the login box.

Note: Some routers use tplogin.cn login, and the specific management address of the router is recommended to be viewed on the sticker on the back of the shell.

2 , Login Management interface

First enter the router management interface, in order to protect your device security, you need to set the management router password, please set according to the interface prompts. Such as:

Note : Some routers need to enter the administrative user name, password, all input admin can.

Step three: Follow the setup Wizard to set up the Internet 1 , start the setup Wizard

After entering the management interface of the router, click the Setup Wizard and click Next .

2 , choose the Internet mode

Most routers support automatic detection of the Internet, follow the page prompts to set the Internet mode. If it is other forms of Internet access, please click on the reference (dynamic IP internet static IP Internet):

If you do not know how to access the Internet, please click:

Internet mode Choose PPPoE(ADSL virtual dial) , click Next .

3 , enter the Internet broadband account and password

In the corresponding settings box, fill in the broadband account and password provided by the operator and make sure that the account password is entered correctly.

Note: 76% users because the wrong broadband account password caused by the Internet, please carefully check the broadband account password is correct, pay attention to Chinese and English input, letter case, suffix and so on whether the input complete.

4 , set Wireless parameters

SSID is the wireless network name (can be set according to actual needs), select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and set the PSK Wireless Password , click Next .

Note: The wireless password is used to secure the wireless network, ensuring that it is not being rubbed off by others.

5 , Setup Complete

Click Finish to complete the Setup wizard.

Fourth step: Try surfing the internet

After the setup is complete, go to the router management interface, click Run Status , view the WAN port status , such as the box IP address is not 0.0.0.0, then the setting is successful.

At this point, the network connection is successful and the router is set up. Computers connected to the router do not need to dial the broadband connection, directly open the Web. If you have other computers need to surf the internet, use a network cable directly connect the computer to the 1\2\3\4 interface can try to surf the internet, do not need to configure the router.
