If you have multiple devices, such as computers, mobile phones, and laptops that need to use the network at the same time, you need to add a wireless router, make simple settings.
The following describes how to set up a vro to connect to the landlord.
Connect the network cable from the landlord's house to the WAN port of the router, and connect the computer to any LAN port of 1/2/3/4, as shown in the figure below:
The default wireless signal for the router is a TP-LINK_XXXX with no password. If you use a laptop, mobile phone, or other wireless terminal to set a router, connect to the wireless signal and follow the next step.
After connecting the line, make sure that the corresponding interface indicator is always on or flashing. After the network cable is connected, the corresponding port indicator is not on?
Open your browser, clear the address bar, and enter the vro management address tplogin.cn (192.168.1.1 in some cases). In the displayed settings management password interface, set ~ 15-bit password management, clickOKLog on to the vro management page.
Note:: Remember the configured management password for subsequent vro management.
Vro automatically detects the Internet access mode, such as detectionFor automatic acquisitionIPAddress, ClickNext Step.
If the internet access method is detected Broadband dial-up Internet access(Using the bandwidth account password) orFixedIPAddressAccess the internet. Follow the prompts in the Wizard and enter the corresponding parameters.
Wireless nameWe recommend that you use numbers or letters. Do not use Chinese characters,Wireless password We recommend that you set 8 ~ 63-bit combination of numbers and letters, clickOK.
TP-LINK ID is used to connect the router to the ECS, online upgrade, application installation, remote management and other functions of the management ID. SelectCreate FreeTP-LINK ID. You can also clickSkip.
Note:: After the router successfully connects to the network, the interface will prompt to create a TP-LINK ID.
Create with your phone number or mailbox, and set the login password for the TP-LINK ID, click OK, As shown in the following figure:
Now, the vro settings are complete. After the computer is connected to the vro, you can directly access the Internet.
If you have other computers that need to access the Internet, use a network cable to directly connect your computer to any idle LAN port on vro1 1, 2, 3, and 4; if it is a laptop, mobile phone, or other wireless terminal, connect to the wireless signal of the router to access the Internet, no need to configure the router.
When using the network of the landlord's house, you can set it according to the above steps by default. If the above steps are not available, please note:
1,MACAddress clone
If the landlord is bound to the MAC address of the Internet computer, you need to clone the MAC address of the bound computer to the WAN port of the router to connect the router.
Method: Connect a computer bound with a MAC address to the LAN port of the vro. Log on to the vro management page and clickRoute settings > Internet settings, InAdvanced Settings, SetWANPortMACAddressSelectUse current managementPCOfMACAddress, Click SaveYou can.
2Modify vro CIDR blocks
If the management address of the router in the landlord's home is in the same network segment (for example, 192.168.1.X), some earlier versions of the router WAN ports cannot be connected to the network, you need to modify the IP address of the router LAN port to different network segments. For example, the management address of the home router of the landlord is 192.168.1.1, and the management address of the home router is changed to 192.168.0.1.
Method: Log on to the vro management page and clickNetwork Parameters> LANPort settings, Change the IP address to the IP address of different CIDR blocks, and clickSaveWait for the vro to restart and use the modified IP address to log on to the vro interface.
