How do I use the KMPlayer player to display the SSA and ass subtitles effects?

KMPlayer

Method 1, use a codec package containing VSFilter.dll (directvobsub) (Codec pack)

such as K-lite or perfect decoding

1. When installing Codec Pack (Codec pack), select Directvobsub (usually the default is selected);

2. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-do not select Disabled (DivXG400 | Directvobsub) subtitle Filter ";

3. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-Matroska Separator-check "gabest Matroska separator"!

Note:

1. If you do not need to kmplayer built-in subtitles, you need to set: KMPlayer parameter Options-subtitle processing-Do not select "If there is a caption";

2. If the "KMP built-in MKV separator" is used in the 3rd step, the caption cannot be displayed when the MKV file is played;

3. Recommended use of Directvobsub 2.37!

Method 2, using VOBSUB (old version of Directvobsub)

1. installation of vobsub;

2. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-do not select Disabled (DivXG400 | Directvobsub) subtitle Filter ";

3. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-Matroska Separator-check "gabest Matroska separator"!

Note:

1. If you do not need to kmplayer built-in subtitles, you need to set: KMPlayer parameter Options-subtitle processing-Do not select "If there is a caption";

2. If the "KMP built-in MKV separator" is used in the 3rd step, the caption cannot be displayed when the MKV file is played;

3. Recommended use of VobSub 2.23;

4. The reason many people use this old version is that it comes with a handy subtitle editing feature!

Method 3, registered VSFilter.dll (directvobsub)

1. Copy the VSFilter.dll to the Windowssystem32 directory;

2. Start-run-regsvr32 VSFilter.dll;

3. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-do not select Disabled (DivXG400 | Directvobsub) subtitle Filter ";

4. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-Matroska Separator-check "gabest Matroska separator"!

2. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-do not select Disabled (DivXG400 | Directvobsub) subtitle Filter ";

3. KMPlayer parameter Options-Media | decoder | filter-Matroska Separator-check "gabest Matroska separator"!

Method 5, using KMPlayer built-in subtitles

1. KMPlayer parameter Options-Video processing-Video output device-renderer selection "VMR7 (no rendering mode-high quality)" or "VMR9 (no rendering mode-high quality)", recommended the use of "VMR7 (no Rendering mode-high-definition)";

2. KMPlayer parameter Options-Video processing-Video output device-select "VRM no rendering mode forced to use RGB32 output";

3. KMPlayer parameter Options-caption Processing-selected in vmr| Direct3D render Subtitles-select "Smooth output (no rendering mode)";

4. KMPlayer parameter Options-caption Processing-Combined Subtitles | other-External Components | Other-Select the Use support type:. Ass. ass2. SSA. SSF, live Sync rendering, and "handle subtitles to the inside of the screen"!

Note:

1. A granular (mosaic) effect occurs if the "VRM is forced to use RGB32 output" without the check in step 2nd;

2. Sometimes in order to display the caption in the black area below the screen, you can uncheck the 4th step, "handle the caption to the inside position of the screen". But the result that does not select is the caption effect that is related to the picture position may be unable to display normally!
