How do Ubuntu and derivative users install OracleJava8?

OracleJava8 (stable version) has recently been released. This version brings many changes and new features. Among them, through & ldquo; Lambda project & rdquo; to get support for functional programs, some security updates and bug fixes and some interface improvements were received, making the work of developers easier. This article provides the PPA installation command for Oracle Java 8, the PPA supports Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04, 12.10, 13.10, and derivative Linux Mint 16 Petra, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, and Elementary OS 14.04 Luna.

Open the terminal (Press Ctrl + Alt + T) and enter the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: webupd8team/java
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
