If you use a static IP address to access the Internet, that is, the bandwidth you apply for from the network service provider (China Telecom or China Netcom) is a fixed IP address, and the network service provider provides all your internet IP addresses: includes IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS server Address. Set your vro as follows:
[Physical connection]
1. Connect the WAN port of the router from a broadband line, and connect the computer to the 1-4 port of the LAN of the router using a network cable
2. Check the indicator light. When the vro is running normally, the system indicator light (SYS) is flashing, and the WAN port indicator and LAN port indicator are always on or flashing.
If the SYS light is always on or off, it indicates that the router is faulty. If the LAN port light or WAN port light is not on, check whether the physical connection is connected. For example, if the network cable is not connected or the network cable has poor contact with the interface; if the connection is normal but the indicator light is not on, the network cable may be faulty. We recommend that you change the network cable.
[Set vro]
1. Enter the IP address of the router LAN port in the browser, enter the correct management user name and password of the router in the pop-up box, and then enter the management page.
If the router is set by default, the management address is 192.168.1.1. The username and password are admin.
2. Select "network parameters" & rarr; "WAN port settings" in the left box, and select "Static IP" in "WAN port connection type" in the right border ", enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask (Subnet Mask), Gateway, and DNS server Address in the corresponding section. As shown in the following figure.
3. If the line operator limits the use of a router, you can clone the mac address bound by the carrier to access the Internet. As shown in the following figure.
After setting, you can access the Internet.
