How does an XP system create a virtual directory?
Each Internet service can be published from multiple directories, and each directory can be positioned on a local drive or network by specifying a directory with a universal naming convention (UNC) name, a user name, and a password for access. A virtual server can have a host directory and any number of other publishing directories. Other publishing directories are called virtual directories.
Specific methods:
1, in C Disk "Inetpub" folder under a "Wwwroot" folder, open, in which a new "WDZD (name can be taken)" folder.
2, click "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel".
3, double-click the "Administrative Tools" icon, open and choose the "Internet Information Services" icon.
4. After you expand the local computer directory, right-click the default Web site, and select New, virtual directory.
5, according to the instructions click "Next", bounce out of the "Virtual Directory Creation Wizard" dialog box, enter the "Biem (can be set)" Alias, click "Next".
