If you have not session_name changed session_id using a function, you can see an item named in the response cookie PHPSESSID , which is the session ID.

Firefox should look in Firebug, chrome if it's windows, press F12 , in the network.

Session is stored on the server side, the browser can not see, only see the cookie

Chrome Press F12 to open the Debugging tool, select Network, then select the request connection you want to view, and finally select the cookie.
