In PowerPoint 2000, the default color for text hyperlinks is lavender, and the hyperlink color that has been accessed is light gray. But sometimes our slide background color is the same as or similar to the hyperlink color, making the hyperlinks difficult to identify, so it's necessary to change the hyperlink color.
In the Format menu under the menu bar or in the right-click shortcut menu, select the slide color scheme command. POPs up the Color Scheme dialog window, and in the Customize tab, double-click the color block (figure) to the left of accent and hyperlink, and select the appropriate color in the Accent and Hyperlink Colors dialog box; Also, double-click the accent and trailing hyperlink color to modify the color of the access hyperlink. When you have finished setting up, click Apply. When you perform a hyperlink, it becomes the color you set, and the effect is the same on different computers.
