The following commands are required for the display and closing of the header, for emptying, and for switching between styles:
- \pagestyle is used to set the header display for the current page and subsequent pages (called page layout). The middle page layout can be specified by the \thispagestyle command.
- \thispagestyle sets the current page layout.
