IMessage and ordinary text messages in the process of delivery is fundamentally different, imessage is through mobile phone traffic or Wi-Fi encrypted transmission of information, pictures or voice, and ordinary SMS transmission is the cellular mobile network. In the "Information" application is also very good distinction, the message sent by the imessage is a blue bubble, the message sent by ordinary SMS is a green bubble.
Now it's time to teach you how to use your Mac, ipad, and ipod touch to send a green bubble in plain text.
If you want to use a continuous messaging feature, you need to make sure your Mac upgrades to OS X Yosemite, iOS device upgrades to 8.1, and on the device you want to use, login to the same Apple account in the information settings.
First open the iphone "Settings", find "information", in the case of the imessage switch open, click "Send and Receive."
In the "way to contact you through IMessage", at least check your phone number and the Apple ID of the mailbox used, generally speaking, mobile phone number is the default check, no longer choose.
If you want to use the continuous interoperability of ordinary text messages on your ipad or ipod Touch, repeat the previous setup on the iphone on the ipad or ipod touch. Note that in send and accept, the Apple ID is consistent with the Apple ID "send and receive" in the iphone. If not, click on the Apple ID, select logout, and then log on to the Apple ID used in the iphone send and receive.
If you want to use the continuous interoperability of ordinary SMS on Mac, first click on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the Mac screen, enter "Information" in the search box, and then double-click the "info" entry in the list.
After you open "info", click "Info" in the upper left corner of the screen and continue clicking "Preferences ..." to confirm that the Apple ID is consistent with the "send and accept" Apple ID in the iphone. If not, select Log off and log in to the Apple ID used in "Send and receive" on your iphone. Then check the "Enable this account" checkbox. At the end of the "your message address:" Select at least your phone number and the mailbox used by the Apple ID.
Finally go back to your iphone and go to "settings"-"info"-"text message Forwarding", which lists the devices that turn on the imessage feature and are the same as the iphone's Apple ID, where you can choose to turn on the SMS forwarding function for the specified device. If the setting is successful, a confirmation message will be displayed on the iphone.
Opening text forwarding does not require the iphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to be turned on. Complete the above mentioned settings can enjoy the continuous exchange of ordinary SMS function.
How to turn off imessage
There may be people who have this problem, "How do you not want the imessage information on your iphone to be transferred to your other devices at the same time?"
The solution to this problem is simple, for example, if you don't want to receive imessage information on the ipad or ipod touch, go to "set"-"info" and turn off the imessage switch directly.
If on the Mac, in the "preferences ..." of "Information", uncheck "Enable this account" under the Apple ID corresponding to the iphone.
